The Employment and Organizational Effectiveness unit regroups four main human resources functions:
- Career Services
- Employment
- Employment Equity
- Training and Development
The unit's key goals are:
- To provide consultative and professional services in support of recruiting, selecting, and hiring the most qualified candidates for vacant positions and to process transactions related to employment.
- To assess training and development needs and to design and implement programs that address the specific requirements of staff and management. These services and initiatives provide the foundation for career development and succession planning at the university.
- To coordinate reporting on the university’s Employment Equity Program to federal and provincial agencies charged with ensuring compliance with employment equity legislation.
